Sonny was found on the street when he was about 4-5 months old. He was skinny and skittish, poor thing had been abandoned. He has come a long way since then! He is about 2.5 years old now and weighs about 50 lbs. He gets along great with other dogs, loves to play and has spent lots of time in doggie day care so is well socialized. He gets compliments all the time on what a handsome boy he is! Beautiful intense eyes, lovely brown coat. Slender but strong. He is a goofball and is extremely loyal. Knows basic commands and is neutered and up to date with shots. A bit of his skittish roots are still there which make him a little suspicious of strange men and he does have some anxiety being left alone. He is full of love and commitment for his owner and would be perfect for someone who wants a dog who will protect the home and send out an alert when strangers show up! Unfortunately the owner`s wife is having a baby and no dogs are allowed in their complex and there is just no way to keep him. It is breaking the owner’s heart, but he has to find him a good stable home. With a strong leader, (and perhaps a doggie friend?) Sonny will flourish and be a most amazing companion.
