Brittany is a 3 year old Maltese mix who weighs between 8-10 pounds. A very sweet dog that was turned into the animal shelter by her owners along with either her sister or mother, Terri. We do not know the reason why, but Brittany's beautiful long white coat was so matted, our groomer had to completely shave her down. It will grow back though and will need to either be maintained by brushing everyday or kept cut short with regular grooming appointments.
Brittany is a very sweet and shy dog. She doesn't seem fearful, but will lay down when you reach over to pick her up. She just melts in your arms like sweet sugar. A simply adorable and loving animal.
She does wonderful with other dogs and never seems to be any trouble at all.
We have not had her around young children, but feel that children old enough to know how to respect an animal will be fine. Most likely would do best in a quieter home.
